Nevin Kallepalli is a religion reporter based in New York City. Much of his writing has focused on life under occupation in the West Bank and Gaza, as well as religious issues in South Asia and the Arab world. He has contributed to The Nation, The Baffler, Curbed, Juggernaut, and others. His Pulitzer Center project covers the living conditions of Kashmiri Pandits, India's military occupation, and local sentiments about the first national election to occur since the BJP dissolved Kashmir's local government in 2019.
