Mitch Gelman


Mitch Gelman is president and CEO of WCNY, a public media station in central New York.

Previously, Gelman covered law enforcement and immigration as a reporter for Newsday, was SVP and senior Executive Producer at and served at Chief Technology Officer at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. He is the author of "Crime Scene: On the streets with a rookie police reporter," and has written for TIME and 5280 magazines. He shared in a Pulitzer Prize with the staff of NY Newsday for spot news reporting.
