Melina Traiforos

Melina Traiforos is an undergraduate student at Wake Forest University studying English, Marketing Communications, and Journalism. Coming from a family of doctors, she is passionate about the intersection between public health and women’s issues and how women operate within and without the healthcare system. Her project explores New York City’s high Black maternal mortality rate and the Citywide Doula Initiative’s potential as a solution.
