Megan Lupo

GRANTEE

Megan Lupo is a graduate student at Arizona State University's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, currently pursuing a master's degree in the inaugural investigative journalism program. Born and raised in New Jersey, her passion for journalism emerged when she read John Branch's "Snow Fall: The Avalanche at Tunnel Creek" in The New York Times. She served as managing editor for her undergraduate's newspaper, The Rider News, at Rider University in New Jersey. In Spring 2018, she won first place in the enterprise/investigative reporting category at the N.J. Collegiate Press Association Awards for two of her pieces. She aspires to hold those in power accountable and tell the stories of those marginalized.
