Manuela Saldarriaga is a social communicator-journalist from the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Medellín, Colombia. She has a master's degree in journalism from the Universidad de los Andes, in Bogotá. She worked as a reporter for Cerosetenta magazine from 2018 to 2023.
She has written for El Tiempo, El Espectador, VICE, and other outlets. Some of her work has been translated into English and French.
Saldarriaga has worked as a cultural and press manager for the Book and Culture Festival of Medellín, Parque Explora, Universidad de Antioquia, Universo Centro, and the Gabriel García Márquez Foundation.
