Maddy Keyes
2024 REPORTING FELLOW
Maddy Keyes (she/her) is a recent graduate from the University of Oklahoma where she earned a bachelor's in Journalism with a minor in international studies. She previously worked as a Washington, D.C. correspondent for Gaylord News covering national politics through a local lens for an Oklahoma audience. Keyes was a part of the National Carnegie-Knight News21 Investigative fellowship where she worked with a team of journalists to examine the impacts of the reversal of Roe v. Wade on health care, culture, policy and people. The project, "America After Roe," was named the College Journalism winner and the Grand Prize winner in the 2024 Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Journalism Awards.
