Maad al-Zekri


Video journalist Maad al-Zekri reported on multiple aspects of Yemen's civil war, including uncovering torture at secret prisons run by the United Arab Emirates, documenting the spread of hunger and cholera and the plight of those displaced by the war. In 2019, he was part of an Associated Press team that won the Pulitzer Prize for international reporting for work uncovering the war's effects.
