Liz Goodwin

Liz Goodwin is a political reporter for The Boston Globe covering Washington. She's written from the U.S.-Mexico border about the Trump administration's family separation policy, from Cuba on the Obama administration's broken promise to close Guantanamo Bay and from the campaign trail on Hillary Clinton's failed bid to become the first woman president.

Before joining the Globe, Goodwin reported for Yahoo News and The Daily Beast in New York. Her first journalism job was covering tourism and the economy for the Tico Times in Costa Rica.
