Laura Schulte

Laura Schulte is an environmental reporter at the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, where she covers the intersection of state government and natural resources in Wisconsin.

She has catalogued the discovery of PFAS in Wisconsin water, the push for legislation to protect the region’s resources, and the impacts of mining and oil pipelines in the state.

Prior to joining the Journal Sentinel, she covered business and local government at the Wausau Daily Herald.

She graduated in 2016 from Indiana University, where she majored in journalism and political science.

She lives in Madison.
