Julianna Deutscher

Julianna Deutscher is reporting on the Venezuelan migration crisis response in northern Brazil. She previously visited the region as a researcher on gender-based violence and human trafficking prevention in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration. Julianna is currently completing her Master of Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She is an emergency physician who contributes to global heath projects that predominantly focus on medical education, refugee health, and gender-based violence. She has previously published with Global Health NOW and looks forward to further incorporating reporting into her career.
