Juliana Kim

Juliana Kim is a weekend reporter for NPR, where she adds context to the news of the day and brings her enterprise skills to the media giant's signature journalism.
She is based in Nashville and came to NPR from member station WPLN, where she served as the education beat reporter. Before that, Kim was a fellow at The New York Times, and her reporting included covering the summer 2020 protests after George Floyd's murder and the Atlanta-area spa shootings.
Kim was a key player in the Times' coverage of the spa shootings, connecting with the community as well as family members of the victims to show their stories.
