Jonathan Kaiman


Jonathan Kaiman resigned as Beijing Bureau Chief for the Los Angeles Times after an investigation into alleged sexual misconduct. While at the Los Angeles Times he reported on politics, business and social trends across East Asia. Previously, he was a correspondent for The Guardian, and before that, a Fulbright scholar researching folklore in China's rural southwest. He has lived in Beijing for seven years, and speaks fluent Mandarin.
