John Reid

John Reid has written about environmental and Indigenous issues for The New York Times, The Atlantic, The Guardian, and other outlets. He has contributed photography for The Guardian, O Globo, and Atlas Obscura.
A co-author of the book Ever Green: Saving Big Forests to Save the Planet, Reid is the founder and past president of the Conservation Strategy Fund. In addition, he's a winner of the MacArthur Award for Creative and Effective Institutions.
