Jim Olech

Central New York native Jim Olech shoots, edits, and produces multiple high-profile programs and projects for WCNY.

Olech obtained his master's from Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles and was subsequently hired as the New Media Creative Lead for educational and marketing content. He returned to Central New York with his young family, where he continued in video production and graphic design with commercial, nonprofit, and educational visual media creation.

He joined WCNY early in 2019, aiming to positively engage the community through imaginative and captivating content.
