Jessica Pastine
TEACHER FELLOW
Jessica is an educator with 22 years of experience working in rural West Virginia schools. She had taught in both public schools and juvenile correctional facility schools. She currently teaches English Language Arts and Social Studies at the Kenneth “Honey” Rubenstein Center School for male offenders. She serves as the Faculty Advisory Committee Chair and has been the sponsor of several student organizations, including RAZE and SADD. She was 2009 Tucker County Teacher of the Year. Her current passion project is collaborating with co-teachers to promote Read Aloud West Virginia among her students. While at home, Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband, Andy, and their two dogs, Rascal and Rowdy. Her hobbies include reading, crochet and camping.
