Jeron Velasco

Jeron Velasco is an educator with over 12 years of experience teaching in the Philippines and the United States. 

Currently, Velasco teaches at Dishchii’bikoh Community School in Cibecue, Arizona, as a high school social studies teacher and History Club leader. He is also a C-SPAN Teacher Fellow, the 2025 Gilder Lehrman Arizona History Teacher of the Year, an Al Mérito awardee, and co-author of Heroes of Cibecue.
