Jason Zheng
W&M REPORTING FELLOW
Jason Zheng is a sophomore at William & Mary, double majoring in public policy and sociology, with a concentration in criminology, law, and society.
In 2019, he was a writer for the Virginian-Pilot’s Journalism Workshop, where he found a love for storytelling and investigative reporting, working with seasoned reporters, legal professionals, and outreach coordinators to produce a piece on the Atlantic Coast Pipeline.
Zheng is passionate about collaborating with community members to understand ongoing challenges and advocate for policy solutions. He has a wide range of interests, including environmental justice, equitable health care access, and school safety.
