Jason Martinez

Jason Martinez is a computer scientist focused on innovative tools and applications for investigative journalism. He is the co-founder and chief technology officer of Salud con lupa.
He co-authored the project Scientifically Proven: An Analysis of the Most Used Treatments Against COVID-19, which was a finalist for the 2021 Gabo Award and the 2022 Sigma Awards.
He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the National University of Engineering in Peru and was a fellow of the Institute of Pure and Applied Mathematics in Rio de Janeiro for the 2D Computer Graphics Program in 2015.
He has been a mentor for digital projects at the International Center for Journalists in Latin America and has provided training in data analysis and new digital narratives.
