Irupé Tentorio

Irupé Tentorio is a journalist with over 20 years of experience reporting on critical issues in Argentina and Mercosur for leading Spanish and Italian media outlets.

Her career began at the prestigious newspaper Página/12, known for its investigative journalism and unwavering commitment to human rights policies. Tentorio has extensive experience in the field covering national and international politics, social and environmental issues, gender and sexual diversity issues, as well as human rights (legislation, treaties, and historical trials). She has received international scholarships such as the Pulitzer Center and Journalism Fund Europe to investigate deforestation in the Argentine Chaco ecosystem, and the IWMF (International Women's Media Foundation) to report on the difficulties that exist in accessing reproductive rights in Argentina. Irupé has also received national scholarships, such as the National Arts Fund and the Culture Patronage Fund, to report on gender inequalities and their economic impact.
