Holly Lam is a sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in global health and environment as well as music on the pre-medical track. She plans to pursue a minor in biology. As a member of the Medicine & Society Program at Washington University, she is passionate about understanding disparities in healthcare and helping vulnerable populations access quality healthcare. On campus, she is an executive of Washington University Empower Through Health, Washington University’s chapter of a nonprofit health care organization in Eastern Uganda. She also volunteers with Beat Therapy, a music-based community service group. In her free time, Lam enjoys learning music on the violin, piano, and viola in addition to picking up new instruments.
