Henry Izaguirre has been within the world of journalism and its various aspects since he started at WGN-TV in the early 1990s. His bilingual and bicultural background has allowed him to excel within various communities while his MBA and corporate experience allow him to present himself seamlessly in any corporate environment. He recently directed the marketing strategy for Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Chicago, including the development of a business plan. Previous to that he was the marketing director for Strack & Van Til grocers. His work included overall digital strategy, marketing communications, retail signage, newspaper development and advertising as well as community affairs. Minority MBA magazine has named him one of the Next Generation of Minority Business Leaders! He was also part of a volunteer HP management team that earned a Points of Light Foundation award for an Idaho Hispanic school children program. Izaguirre has also written various blog articles on subjects ranging from digital technology to college advising.
