Hari Sreenivasan

Hari Sreenivasan, who has covered health, science, climate change and education for the PBS NewsHour is the also the anchor for the PBS NewsHour Weekend. He joined the NewsHour in 2009 as an online and on-air correspondent, and was responsible for guiding the development of the NewsHour's Web presence and relationship to local public media. Prior to coming to the NewsHour, Sreenivasan was at CBS and ABC.
For his work, Sreenivasan has received multiple "Outstanding Broadcast Story" awards from the South Asian Journalists Association. He has served on the board of that Association, and is a 2003 graduate of the Asian American Journalists Association's Executive Leadership Program. Sreenivasan was born in Mumbai, India and is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound.
