Freddie Clayton

Journalist Freddie Clayton is based in Valencia, Spain, and is dedicated to reporting stories on water, sanitation, and sports.
He has worked closely with the Center for Collaborative Investigative Journalism since 2018, starting out reporting on Bolivia's national lottery before covering water reclamation in Las Vegas and San Diego and Orange County in California. His story on direct potable reuse in the southwestern states was funded by the Solutions Journalism Network and published by Truthout.
Clayton's sports writing has been published in The Economist, the Daily Telegraph, and Sky Sports. He is also a regular contributor to Eurosport UK.
He has also written about lithium mining in Bolivia for Americas Quarterly.
