Erin Rhoda is the editor of investigations and projects at the Bangor Daily News. She also writes for the newspaper, often centering her work on issues of sexual assault, domestic violence, rural economies, and addiction.
She was named the 2016 Maine Journalist of the Year for the work she did over two-and-a-half years to chronicle the experiences of a young man who was addicted to heroin but never got the help that, in the end, could have saved his life. In 2018 she was named one of Maine's most respected journalists. She has received many other local, state, and national honors.
