Ebony Thompson
TEACHER FELLOW
Ebony Thompson is a dedicated educator with over 15 years of experience teaching in New York City public schools. She is passionate about fostering curiosity and critical thinking in her students. At City College Magnet School of the Arts, Ebony teaches Global History, World Politics, and Yoga, taking a holistic approach to student development. Throughout her career, she has taken on various leadership roles, including co-leading the professional development team, heading content and grade teams, and supporting teacher candidates as a cooperating teacher. Ebony enjoys visiting museums, traveling to new cities, and reading speculative history books outside of work.
