Dylan Ortiz
REPORTING FELLOW
Dylan Ortiz is a budding storyteller whose eye for detail and zeal for filmmaking drives him to achieve his goals. He recently graduated from Westchester Community College with an honors-designated degree in liberal arts and sciences with an emphasis in humanities. While at WCC, Dylan was an Andrew W. Mellon Research Fellow at Johns Hopkins University, a junior video producer at Bantam Tools, and a 2022 Pulitzer Center Campus Consortium Reporting Fellow in New Orleans.
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in film and television at Fordham University, Dylan aims to become a professional film director one day. He is also a proud Colombian who wants to advocate for more representation of Latinos in front of and behind the camera.
