Dina Gachman is an Austin, Texas-based writer and a frequent contributor to Teen Vogue, The New York Times, Texas Monthly, and Vox.

Her first book of essays, Brokenomics, was published in 2015, and her profiles and narrative features cover diverse topics such as women of lawnmower racing, a Texas drag pageant that's been uplifting the LGBTQ+ community for over 30 years, and rogue botanists who are quietly working to save native plant species around the world.

Her book So Sorry For Your Loss: Learning To Live With Grief—Even If It Kills You will be published in April 2023 by Union Square and Co.
