Claudia Ocaranza

Claudia Ocaranza Abascal is the journalism coordinator at the PODER organization, where she does investigative and data journalism on corporate accountability issues with a focus on human rights.
She is a journalist from the Tecnológico de Monterrey and has a master’s in investigative, data, and visualization journalism from the Escuela de Unidad Editorial and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid).
She was a finance reporter for the Mexican national newspaper Excélsior and ExcélsiorTV, and was a fellow of the International Center for Journalists' A Digital Path to Entrepreneurship and Innovation for Latin America program.
