Clara Longo de Freitas

Clara Longo de Freitas is an undergraduate student at the Philip Merrill College of Journalism. She arrived at this university in the fall of 2018, just two years after she moved to the United States from Brazil. She considers herself very Brazilian – full of "saudade" of her home – and an avid learner. Clara hopes to use her experience with investigative journalism to become a foreign correspondent based in Latin America.
