Bonnie Bertram

Bonnie Bertram is a senior producer at Retro Report, where she has reported on a range of subjects.
Her short film on vaccine hesitancy, distributed in partnership with The New York Times, was nominated for a news and documentary Emmy Award. Her 2017 story on sexual harassment was featured as a "Webby for Good," and she produced a short film in partnership with PBS' FRONTLINE about the history of Guantanamo Bay's extrajudicial legal status. Bertram led a team of producers and reporters on a five-part series about housing and evictions during the pandemic.
A graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, she spent much of her career at CNN and has written for Vanity Fair, the International Herald Tribune, and other publications.
