Benedict Moran is a freelance journalist and filmmaker currently based in New York City. He specializes in conflict, diplomacy, and international development. Prior to becoming a journalist, he worked as an aid worker in South Sudan, Kenya, and elsewhere in Africa and Latin America. He was a Peace Corps volunteer stationed in Benin, where he produced a radio show at a solar-powered community station. He has a Masters of Science degree in Journalism from Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, and a Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.
