Avery Sloan

Avery Sloan is majoring in journalism at Elon University and is from Apex, NC. At Elon, she serves as the executive director of Elon News Network and the managing editor of The Pendulum, ENN's weekly newspaper. She has also interned at INDY Week, an alternative weekly newspaper based in Durham, NC, and with the town of Elon. She covers a wide range of topics and is passionate about local politics and education.
