Ashonti Ford

Ashonti Ford is an award-winning journalist who appears on over 100 different television news stations every morning.

Early in her career, Ford covered national stories, including the Trayvon Martin case in Florida. Now, she serves as a national correspondent in Washington, D.C., where she covers the White House, Congress, and foreign affairs.

Ford has met with President Biden and members of the administration, as well as key lawmakers—while still maintaining her passion for in-depth stories that impact underprivileged communities.

She has been awarded several Pulitzer Center grants to cover international and domestic issues that affect farming communities, migrant workers, women, and children.
