Amanda Magnani is a journalist and photographer, engaged in social and environmental issues.

After living in seven countries, she returned to Brazil to dedicate herself to documenting the diverse realities that make up her homeland. Her work is based on a decolonial perspective that always seeks to collaborate with the subjects of the narrative.

With a Master's in Journalism, media, and globalization and a specialist in public policy and gender justice, Magnani was a Climate Tracker and Solutions Journalism Network fellow in 2021 and the author of the winning story in the International Service for Human Rights' Constructive Narrative Framing competition in 2022.

Her work has been published in National Geographic, Al Jazeera, The New Humanitarian, BBC Brazil, Folha de S.Paulo, among others.
