Alexa York

Alexa York is a journalist and investigative reporter at The Blade in Toledo, Ohio.
A native of Luckey, Ohio, she was a Fulbright grantee in Bitterfeld, Germany, one of the most polluted cities in the former East Germany. York also worked as an intern in Washington, D.C., where she helped introduce environmental legislation into the U.S. House of Representatives.
Before entering journalism, York was classically trained in the trumpet and received a degree in music from Bowling Green State University.
