Adam Janofsky
REPORTING FELLOW
Adam Janofsky was a junior at the University of Chicago, pursuing degrees in law, Letters & Society and political science when he received the Pulitzer Center student fellowship. He has served as editor-in-chief of the university's newspaper, The Chicago Maroon, where he has also held positions as news editor and magazine editor. He is the co-founder of an online campus news publication, The Daily Sophist, funded by a grant from the University of Chicago.
Adam is interested in the intersection of journalism and law, and has worked for Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel as a press intern covering the city's sustainability initiatives. He has also interned for Details magazine in New York City and Baltimore magazine in his home town. This summer, Adam was a reporter at the Bangkok Post, Thailand's largest English language newspaper, where he wrote several feature and cover stories for the paper's Sunday magazine.
Adam was selected as the 2012 Pulitzer Center University of Chicago student fellow, as part of the Pulitzer Center's Campus Consortium program.
