Jeff Oloizia is an award-winning writer based in Madison, Wisconsin. His reporting has explored the human impact of school shooting drills, cutting-edge Alzheimer’s treatments, and the growing movement to ban books in U.S. prisons.
His work has appeared in The New York Times, The Atlantic, Interview, Madison Magazine, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine, where he was previously an editor.
His feature writing has earned national and regional recognition, including awards from the City and Regional Magazine Association and the National Awards for Education Reporting.
Oloizia holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a master in fine arts degree in fiction from the University of North Carolina Wilmington.
