Pulitzer Center grantee Molly Knight Raskin will visit Boston University on Thursday, March 18, 2025. During her campus visit, Raskin will speak with freshman and sophomore students in Boston University’s College of Communications COM 101 course. She will share insights into her career journey, the opportunities and challenges of freelance journalism, and essential skills for journalists.

Following her session with students, Raskin will deliver a talk titled “Cuts & Consequences: The Impact of Foreign Aid Freezes on Global Public Health,” where she will share with the faculty and staff of the School of Public Health the impact of the dissolution of USAID and PEPFAR on health.

Raskin is a freelance journalist who writes and produces for television, documentary films, and newspapers. A two-time Pulitzer grant recipient, her most Pulitzer Center-supported project, Cuts and Consequences: The End of USAID, documents the impact of the Trump administration’s decision to shut down USAID.
