The Pulitzer Center, Aliasi Jurnalis Independen Yogyakarta, and Universitas Islam Indonesia invite the Student Press Clubs members and students who care about environmental issues to Green Voice Matters – The Dark Side of the Archipelago's Oceans and Forests, a deep dive on environmental journalism Stories and workshop. 

Natural damage in the archipelago is getting worse and requires all our attention! Various solidarity actions have proven that the power of media and effective journalism can bring about significant social change. Let us strengthen our voices together to support better policies for environmental sustainability!

  • Abdus Somad – Ocean Reporting Network Fellow, Jaring.ID journalist, investigating illegal fishing in the Natuna and Arafura Seas 
  • Riani Sanusi Putri – Rainforest Reporting grantee, TEMPO journalist, author of "Remissions for Forest Destroyer
  • Bambang Muryanto – Journalist with a specialization in environmental issues in Yogyakarta 
  • Masduki - Professor of Media Studies and Journalism Universitas Islam Indonesia
