Photojournalist Sean Gallagher explores climate change via his Pulitzer Center-supported reporting during this two-day visit to Hunter College and Guttman Community College in New York on Tuesday, September 26 and Wednesday, September 27, 2017. Kem Sawyer, Pulitzer Center contributing editor, joins Gallagher for the visit that includes class sessions throughout the two days and a community-wide event on the evening of September 26.
Hunter and Guttman are both part of the Pulitzer Center's Campus Consortium network. Gallagher also meets with students and teachers at schools in New York City on Monday, Setpember 25.
Gallagher's visit completes a three-city U.S. tour during which he highlights his work capturing climate change and other environmental issues from the Tibetan Plateau to desertification in China.
