2022 Reporting Fellow Grace Cajski and Pulitzer Center grantee Claire Caulfield will speak about their reporting on the climate crisis in Hawaii on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 3:30pm EDT at the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication.

Cajski will present her project on how Hawaii is using fishponds to mitigate climate change. Caulfield will do a presentation on her reporting on forest conservation efforts to prevent freshwater crisis in Hawaii, followed by a Q&A with the journalists. Following the presentation, Reporting Fellow Editorial Coordinator Libby Moeller will hold a Student Reporting Fellowship informational session. 

Claire Caulfield is working toward her master's degree in science writing at Columbia University School of Journalism. She previously worked at Honolulu Civil Beat, an investigative news nonprofit, covering climate change and environmental contamination. Cajski is a student at Yale College and works for the Yale Sustainable Food Program as a communications manager.
