Molly Knight Raskin visit

Pulitzer Center grantee Molly Knight Raskin, an award-winning freelance journalist and documentary producer who reports on global and mental health, will visit the University of Wisconsin-Madison on April 28-30, 2026.

During her visit, Raskin will engage with university classes, visit local K–12 schools, and present her Pulitzer Center-supported project Cuts and Consequences: The End of USAID, which documents the impact of the Trump administration’s decision to shut down the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

In addition to her campus and community engagements, Raskin will deliver a talk for the Madison Committee on Foreign Relations. In this address, she will share how she reported the story on the ground across multiple countries in Africa and offer insight into her work as a freelance journalist.

Raskin, a two-time Pulitzer Center grant recipient, also writes and produces for television, documentary films, and newspapers.
