The Pulitzer Center's Executive Director, Jon Sawyer, will be participate in the panel, "The Media and Human Trafficking." The panel will take place on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 from 10am to 12pm at George Washington University, hosted by the Institute for Public Diplomacy and Global Communication, School of Media and Public Affairs.
The panel will discuss how human trafficking is portrayed in the media today.
Moderated by Terry Fitzpatrick, Free the Slaves Director of Communications & Advocacy. The panel also includes:

- Tina Frundt, survivor, head of Courtney's House
- Nina Berman, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism
The panel is free and open to the public.
