How To Use OSINT To Uncover the Investors Behind Environmental Crime

However, with the right tools and techniques, it’s possible to shine a light on the forces behind these crimes using open-source intelligence (OSINT).
The Pulitzer Center's Rainforest Investigations Network (RIN) and the Centre for Information Resilience (CIR) will conduct an online event where journalists will explore how OSINT can be leveraged to uncover the investors and financial backers behind illegal deforestation, wildlife trafficking, and other environmental offenses.
The event will equip journalists with the skills to track financial links and expose those profiting from environmental destruction.
