Pulitzer Center grantee Terrell J. Starr will visit Guttman Community College in New York on Monday, May 5, 2025, to speak with students enrolled in English Composition 201.
During his visit, Starr will discuss his Pulitzer Center-supported project, Watching the Georgia Parliamentary Elections, and share insights into his career as an independent journalist.
Starr is a foreign affairs reporter whose work focuses on U.S. domestic politics, race in the U.S. and abroad, Eastern European affairs, and other foreign policy issues. He is a contributor to Foreign Policy magazine, The Washington Post, Outrider, and O, The Oprah Magazine. Previously, he was a senior reporter at Foxtrot Alpha, a website that focuses on the military, technology, and policy.
