While cloistered in a cabin in the Catskills for a self-imposed writing retreat, Allyn Gaestel took a break to talk about her project in Lagos on unsafe abortion, her reporting style and writing on sensitive topics, with Anne Hersh on The Writer's Voice. The weekly program airs Tuesdays at 1pm on WIOX Community Radio 91.3 FM in the Catskills in upstate New York or at wioxradio.org.
