Kenya is grappling with rising COVID-19 cases, the majority in the capital city of Nairobi. Mathare slum, with a population of about 500,000 people, has been particularly hit hard. As Nairobi deals with a water shortage amidst the pandemic, and water cartels illegally cut into pipes, how are slum dwellers accessing water that is so critical to fight the spread of infection?
