Watch the trailer for She's Not a Boy, the documentary about the journey of Tatenda Ngwaru, an intersex activist who fled Zimbabwe to seek asylum in the United States. Buoyed by the brave support of her loving parents, Ngwaru struggles to find partnership and a platform in New York City.

She's Not a Boy premiered at Columbia Journalism School (December 2018) and was screened at Wicked Queer: The Boston LGBT Film Festival as an official selection on April 7, 2019. Future screenings are planned for Washington, D.C., and New York.
