Located in the department of Kouilou, in the extreme southwest of Congo-Brazzaville Kwilu, the Conkouati-Douli National Park is a veritable paradise for many animals, including pachyderms, which are under especially strict protection. However, while the state and its partners have achieved important results, the co-habitation between humans and these giant mammals is not a peaceful one. People are waiting for alternatives that are both reassuring and sustainable.
