Animals penetrating the fields of Ngoyla and Messok. This is now the order of the day for the populations of two towns in the Haut Nyong department in Cameroon. These animals come from the Nki National Park and destroy everything in their path. Farmers and planters have only tears in their eyes as they witness the disaster of their cocoa trees, banana plantations and fields of groundnuts, potatoes and manioc destroyed in the man-wildlife conflict. How did this happen? What measures are being taken to curb this phenomenon? What are the local and administrative authorities doing to help people live better?
